| She also teaches workshops for the Grumbacher Company at Michaels stores in San Diego. Examples of the paintings you can learn to paint at her Michaels workshops are below. Joan designed some of the lesson plans, and others were created by artists who work for the Grumbacher Company. The classes are taught in acrylics. One-session classes take two hours. Two-session classes take four hours. You need no prior painting experience. Step-by-step instructions will be given during the workshop.
